yea.. it's a lot of under-the-hood stuff apparently. What's really weird is I have a bookmark that loads all my music (as opposed to a playlist, it just loads the folder every time) and it always takes about 10 seconds to load everything up. When I upgraded to 5.13 I was able to load that bookmark really fast. Then I upgraded to 5.2 and the bookmark loads as slow as it used to.

And they still haven't fixed the jump-to-file bug that makes it once in a while automatically jump to the file you're highlighting, which is annoying as shit when you type in something like "Nightwish" and you're trying to scroll through a whole bunch of songs to find the one you're looking for and winamp just keeps skipping between them. And this is after winamp jumps through NIne inch nails, NIGga please and NIGHTrain as you type...

Yeah, Winamp's not perfect, but it beats the hell out of every other player I've ever tried. Plenty of people swear by Foobar 2000, which I found to be lacking features, ugly, and unintuitive.
