A super super super helpful lj user has taken the time to upload a lot of oftheseas caps to my gallery here: http://ohbambi.net/gallery/index.php

I know there were a few anons waiting or looking for BTVS (+ BSG, Firefly & Angel) caps back then, so I thought I'd let you know here :) The gallery is going to undergo some changes, inc a credits page for the cappers & uploaders also but in the meantime, in case you needed them, there they are!

It baffles me when people say they or other makers do thigs because they can get away with it or just to make an impression or impress people. Just because i have always thought that the only reason to do things is for personal enjoyment. I wouldn do anythig on icons if i didn't completely enjoy doing it

if this is about the longerthanwedo thread above, i don't think anyone is saying that she's doing it to impress or because she can get away with it. i'm positive she's doing it for herself, because she enjoys doing that. but the fact remains that she CAN get away with it and that it DOES impress people.

I was one of the commenters above, and that's pretty much exactly what I mean. Total props to her that she's such an experimenter - I just think people are more forgiving/interested/allowing-in-experimentation because it comes from her as opposed to someone else going out on a limb.

confession: i'm not entirely positive i understand the differences between blue, indigo, and violet. blue and violet i get but once you throw indigo into the mix it all blurs together and i can't differentiate :c

Blue is blue, no reds.

But I agree with indigo and violet. I think violet is almost fuchsia-ey, while indigo is the blue-ey violet/purple/whatever. Or maybe it's the other way around but the fact that indigo comes before violet in ROYGBIV throws me off. I don't know.

yeah, I always associate violet with being a darker purple but then indigo is supposed to be a darker blue but with purple still present?? confusing stuff, man.

"I swear this is the most infuriating thing. Not only have you blatantly STOLEN my designs, and reposted them individually, but you have tagged them all ‘Mine’ as if you made them. This is STEALING. More than that, it’s completely dishonest. It’s like stealing the declaration of independence and then claiming you’re thomas jefferson"

Lol they're just one direction graphics, I don't think they're quit that important...

Imagine if someone stole all of your icons and posted them in their own graphics community claiming they created them and to credit them. Wouldn't you be a little annoyed? I highly doubt you wouldn't seeing as most of the icon community gets riled up when stuff like that happens. And you wouldn't tell yourself "omg they're just icons, they're not important!"
