where's a safe place to download winrar? i just got a new computer and i haven't downloaded it in years so now all the sites look sketchy and ublock is blocking a few of them D: help!

If I remember correctly, I used http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm I've used it twice (old computer and then again on the new one) and I never had any problems. Hope this helps!

DA Depends on your computer (I know I've had explained to me precisely what it means, but I'll be damned if I can remember (did I even understand it at the time, who knows)). Anyway, try right clicking on my computer and then properties, it should say which type you're using.

Argh I hate lj so much right now. That's one of the worst things they've done lately. About on par with the TOS debacle.

Breaking old functionality is something you just. don't. do. That makes me distrust them on a professional level as well now.
