First impression: pretty!
(I'm a huge fan of the rain - which is pretty mandatory, considering where I live).

Secondary, more thoughtful impressions:
I really like some of the parallels you're drawing here. You're reaching into realms that border on poetry, but not quite (which is fine, since you probably weren't intending to write poetry anyway).

We have a saying where I come from. It goes: SooooooooooooOOOOOOO RandooooooooooOOOOOOm....and is usually followed by more incorrect english....yeah, I live in hawaii.
