I’m not even gonna bother going anon for this, because you’d probably just figure it out anyway. Wanna start by saying that I think you’re a good writer! And I think you have potential! I like that your writing style is simple, no long complicated sentences or purple prose. Sometimes you write a sentence that just nails something and I have to stop for a moment, being all jelly that I didn’t think of it myself. I also like that you can bring something special to even short pieces, like idk how to explain this but it’s not just rambling on with tired old expressions like I feel some people do sometimes, it’s like you actually mean something with what you say, and make an effort to express it in a meaningful way

Aaand I'm gonna start by saying thank you! I pretty much agree with the things you think I should work on, they're things that I'm trying to be more aware of, especially trying to incorporate more action and dialogue into my writing. I know I have a tendency and preference towards narrating thought rather than...everything else. I tend to use dialogue or actions to complement thoughts and feelings rather than the other way around and I'm trying to get around that habit so that it's at least a bit more 50:50.

You don't have to trouble yourself looking for examples! But if it ever pops up when you're reading something I write and you feel like pointing it out you can tell me anytime? I promise it won't upset me if you do. Regardless I'm just glad you enjoy my writing and talk about things and plot with me in general.
