or do routers actually listen to problems within their community now?

People have always been willing to listen to problems. It's just that a lot of problems can be solved by talking to the mods first instead of running to anoncomm to complain about how much they suck for not noticing there was a problem in the first place.

But how can you contact the mods when the posts for concerns and questions aren't updated in a month?

I used to be one of the people who'd urge others to just go to the mods. But it's hard to say now, because things just aren't getting updated as frequently as they should. Sure there was one huge update since then but it's still a really awful problem. Not everyone is comfortable going to AIM and telling the mods they're not happy with something.

I'm from Route, and I totally understand all the problems.

I'm just hoping that, eventually, everything gets settled down.

Although the complaining about the soul sucking event just kind of bugged me and I don't think it was completely fair.

Think the problem is more people claiming the mods are x or y, but when people ask for proof they just continue going on about it without providing proof.

If someone is willing to genuinely show some sort of proof that all the complaints about the mods are valid, I'd be willing to listen, but it never seems to happen.

Why do you say 'what did you expect'? From my own experience (and I know, not everyone has the same experience but I think it needs saying) in all the times I've contacted her and asked questions? I've had no problems at all. She's been nice and never has a problem with answering a question; if she doesn't have the answer, she gets back to me promptly after talking to Stormy.

If she's really been rude and blowing people off, I want to hear of proof.

Otherwise you're just namecalling and people are going to assume you're the anon who is mad they can't app Axel while Lea is there because she's not that wanky for someone to be badgering her like this.

No, they don't, and the people in this thread have no idea what they're talking about.

Routers generally aren't allowed opinions as to problems in the community, only the mods are, and they almost never get back to you on them. Look at the dead suggestions post, the hectic event schedule (which has gone back to none again), the fact they never replied to the mod CR the one time they did it and now seem to have refused to do it anymore, and so on.

This goes doubly for anoncomm. Bring up anything and you WILL be shot down with the premise that you can bring it up to the mods. Guess what? Noyoufuckingcant. You CAN, but if you do, it will get ignored and they will just hope you forget about it after a long enough time.

They need another fucking mod and one that actually knows what they're doing.

pssssst, suggestions and concerns page is screened. how do you know they haven't replied to stuff? quit acting like a fucking know it all and play in the game rather than bitch about it.

you think you have it bad, there are games where shit doesn't get done for six months. i am not joking; and you know what? no one gives a fucking shit!

Route is/was... often one of those games, aside from apps and the occasional event?

Neither side is right imo, going on anon memes like this, but it's not like these claims against the mods are without basis either. Getting mad and PA like this isn't helping anyone at all.

there should be a requirement that players must disable custom comments.

it just gets incredibly frustrating for me to thread with some people because of their journal layout.

can't you just not thread with them, then? or ask them to fix it? i agree it's annoying, but i don't really see how this is even a big enough deal to bring to an anoncomm.
