Oh that was so sad! I thought the expressions of grief were spot-on for the characters and you communicated the pain of their loss clearly.

How ironic that Jim would go out the way his father did, yet so believable that he would do it too!

Two very small things: (1) if you get a chance you might want to correct McCoy's name, (2) You made a point of writing that everybody attended the funeral but you also made a point that McCoy refused to go.

Otherwise, perfect, heartfelt writing.

This is beautiful. I hurt with Spock but it was Bones' section and his acknowledgment that no one would call him Bones again that made me cry. Lovely and so sad. <3
