thier mothers were killed for food and when the farmers find that they were pregnent they sell the fetus to science labs. it is produced from the exact same thing as killing a cow for food. i dont see any difference.

i just dont understand how people pick and choose whats okay when it comes to killing animals. what makes a person decide that eating meat and having a dead animal for 'science' is any different? having an animal killed for scientific reasons - killing it, cutting it up, pulling the different organs apart - is the exact same thing that they do in slaughterhouses, except slaughterhouse animals are eaten, and ones used for science are thrown in the trash when they have exhausted their resources to the scientists/students. cutting up an animal for science such a controversial topic for those who eat meat and those who dont, but it is psychically the same practice. i pretty sure that a big majority of people who eat meat would never be able to slaughter it and cut it up for their food. but that (cutting up an animal) is exactly what the meat eaters in my class were complaining about because it 'grosses them out.'

im a criminology/sciology major by these are my g.e. classes. ah, i wrote all that stuff when i had just gotten home, so im not that upset anymore, but i still think its fucking lame. oh well.
