I just took the what kind of writer are you quiz (corgi's LJ had link) and it said I am a sci-fi writer. Huh?!! I guess I read too much Heinlen & what's that other guy? "I sing the body electric" and "dark they were and golden eyed"? 7th grade. Last time I read anything seriously until age 44 & declaring english major ( Read more... )

Yes, I agree - I just love us!

& I love Corgi. She is like a nurturing and (mostly) patient cyber gardener, nourishing & coaxing livejournals (& friendships) to grow.

I love Corgi too.

But let's see... (holds one in each hand) Corgi...Patient.

Hmm, the scales are not necessarily tipping in favor of patience! I vote for this combination: Corgi...Driven.

And I mean it in the best possible sense. She's an amazing woman.

I agree!

But then there is the tiny part of Corgi that still waits for my mom to post - in spite of the fact she has not even checked her email in h'm, six or eight months? A year?

And she fixed me up with a livejournal (even suggested a name for me that perfectly reflected my mostly-lurk-ful activity online)and in spite of my protests, just assumed that I would eventually get around to it. I guess it's not so much a matter of patience as . . . faith?

Or maybe its stubornness? :D
Oh, yeah, Corgi - you will be reading this -- still getting used to this LJ thing. Will take this opportunity to say: whatever it is that makes you YOU, glad you have & share it.

Enough of that mushy stuff!!
