Wow... Yeah I'd be super pissed. First impressions really say a lot and it could take a good minute to change someone's mind about depending on the type of person they are.

I mean common sense should have kicked in with the person was saying "Here let me introduce you to your superior..." the only thing that should have come flying out of her mouth should have been:
A. Air
B. Compliments and high regard about your attitude toward work when due (i.e. not just interjecting just to be talking)
C. "Excuse me, I'll give you two some privacy"
... lol but I'm sure you have a D ^_^
