Scarest thing EVAR - riding the bus on the new drivers first day of training

I got up at the buttcrack of dawn today to go down to Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) to apply for "food assistance" aka food stamps. Thank GOD I qualified and received help because I was not in a good mood from having to get up that early, travel that far, ( Read more... )

food stamps rock! seriously. and hey, sorry i was so out of it when we stopped by a while back, i felt really nasty, as well as being tired... i puked hard-core on the drive home, which sucks... puking and driving, and having to control the car as stomach acid violently pours from your mouth and nose.

that was some crazy vomit, but enough about the vomit.

glad you didn't die.

sorry to hear about your..."crazy vomit". No really though, sorry you weren't feeling well. you shoulda said something and I would have doctored you up to the best of my medicine cabinet. And...were you puking WHILE you were driving? That's some mad skill.

Class gets our on Thursday. I'll be working up here all of December with hopefully more than 2 days off to go home to visit. We'll see. What are you going to be doing?

You have to be paying rent, and be working at least 20 hours a week but making $1000 or under a month. I recommend applying online. I think it makes the wait time between paperwork and getting an appointment shorter.

I dunno yet. I still have one piece of paper work I have to mail in saying that my roommate and I don't buy and prepare food together. But they gave me the card and said as soon as I get that paper work in I will get assistance.
