I dreamt about the old cottage on Port Oneida that my mother’s parents used to own. It overlooked Lake Michigan high up on a bluff. We no longer have this precious cottage. I can't believe how stupid this is. I bought the wrong book for a class and spent an hour today reading chapters 1 and 2. It was only when I went on-line to participate in a required on-line discussion for that class that I realized my mistake ( Read more... )

Seeing snow on the ground makes me feel so happy and content. I just love seeing everything dusted in white.

I'm itching to get out of the city and up to the mountains. I want to be somewhere where all you can hear is the sound of the snow falling and your breath crystallizing in the air.
