yeah i think it might be better off. but getting emmancipation is very hard. you need a few things for the court to allow it.
1. a license
2. a car
3. a steady job
4. legal documents proving your mom has abused you in any way.

or else they wont grant it.

what you should probably do since you dont have any of those, is find a friend whos parent would take your mom to court for guardian ship over you. or maybe you wouldnt even need to go to court if you just keep bothering your mom about it. really tell her how you feel and maybe shell let you leave. like i said my mom would take you in.
