I'm under the impression it would have the power, speed, and accelleration of a mid range motorcycle, not that of a scooter. I could very well be wrong, I havn't really looked into it.
After you posted about it, I ran across it on a gadget site I read. Part of the post is:
In 1946 PIAGGIO launched the first Vespa models and even today the icon of cheap personal transportation can still be seen scooting around big cities. Sixty years later the company is launching the PIAGGIO MP3 and while it may simply look like a sleek, modernized scooter it’s most unique feature is the double set of wheels in the front.
Now, that doesn't mean it can't have the specs you mentioned; that's just where I got the reason to call it "a scooter" rather than "a motorcycle".
I'm actually interested in getting a motorcycle, but this seems to fit my desires nicely enough. The only problem is long distance travel won't be fast, but works well enough for regular trips between PA and SF.
