Hah! So this Sunday, Lestat on Broadway closes. I'm glad I got to see it before it closed. I'm glad it's closing. After having read both books the musical is based off of, I realize this musical never should have existed in the final form it did. It needed so much work and it was just impossible to salvage, even with 30 something days of previews. ( Read more... )

X1 grew on me. I didn't care for it at first and still think it's flawed and could be better. But it was actually watching X2 that made me appreciate it so much more. X2 was much more an action/special effects movie. It was also overly simple, all the mutants fight for survival. Kill or be killed. So, there are lots of action scenes with cool effects. And I found it WAY too violent and not fun to watch ( ... )

Oops....last big paragraph, "that his feelings are secondary to the fact that he is helping" . "the fact that he is helping world leaders is secondary to his feelings".

deluxe sure writes long replies sometimes.

anyways, i've been informed that you should stay til the very very end of the credits to see an epilogue of some sorts concerning the x-men universe. so stay put til then!
