So. Went down to Borders yesterday with a 40% off coupon to buy my very own copy of the Complete Specials Boxset. When I got to the checkout counter the lady recognized the Doctor immediately (this is somewhat rare, in America) and said something about how awesome and sexy David is. :D To which I said "Yeah, I'm really sad he's off the show now." I was totally expecting the Doctor to flip at Amy for holding a gun, lol.

Yes. I think it will be hard for me to care that much about Roryless-Amy in episode 11; Amy is funny and sassy and all that, but the only thing that ever brought out the human element in her was Rory, and now he is not only dead but nonexistent, so that human element isn't there at all. Ahhhg. FIX IT, MOFFAT.

I was totally expecting the Doctor to flip at Amy for holding a gun, lol. I know! Elliot's dad made this big deal about, "Now we have weapons, we can FIGHT BACK!" And I expected the Doctor to be all, "There's always another way!" but it... did not happen. Okay.

I'm very curious to see how Amy acts next episode, more than I am about whatever's going on with Van Gogh. And I wonder if the Doctor will continue to pretend the whole thing with Rory did not happen, because that just seems, I don't know, kind of harsh. This situation cannot be permanent. >_

lol this episode didn't do any of the things I expected it to do. I would count that in favour of Chris Chibnall but I found it really boring for most of it and then infuriating for the last part.

I'm curious about Amy and the Doctor too but not in a good way -- I'm basically expecting them to act like they did in the first couple episodes of this series, which would be fine if a main character hadn't just died. I'd like to be pleasantly surprised but I'm not expecting it.

I think one time I was at Barnes & Noble (a bookstore similar to Borders) in my town and the cashier lady knew of Doctor Who a bit when I was buying a couple books. Poor Catherine. I love her so much. She's pretty. So are all the other people who play the Companions.

I've had my Complete Specials Boxed Set for a while now. I love that they have Doctor Who at the Proms and some from Doctor Who at Comic Con. I watched the whole panel on Youtube. David Tennant is so awesome. :D The Torchwood panel isn't that bad either.

Yeah...the Doctor coming out unharmed with that crack is such a plot hole. Poor Rory! :( I like him a lot. Him and Amy are really cute together.

Yes! Catherine is pretty, just not in a stereotypical way. People don't give her enough credit.

I waited until now to buy my boxset because every so often I get coupons e-mailed to me from Borders. I bought it for 40% off. :D ComicCon sounds fun... I wanted to go to ComicCon, it's actually not that far away from where I live, but it turned out that I was going on vacation all the way across the country that weekend. -_- So that did not work out.

I wish they would explain the Doctor's immunity, but I doubt it will happen. And Rory is coming back. I am sure of it. ;)
