I always, always, always wanted to live in a place like Cecily, Alaska. I think that show is the reason I almost went to grad school in Fairbanks. And possibly why I went to college in Minnesota. I suspect real rural Alaska is much more troublesome and has less beautiful people and more alcoholism. And more homophobia. I think that goes without saying, actually.
