That is awesome!

I had a moment like that once: I was taking high school French, and we had a French native student visiting with our class for a couple of sessions. I ran across her in the grounds during lunchtime, in front of a couple of my friends, and chatted with her - badly - about photographs. My friends were amazed. 'Wow, you can really speak French!' - 'No I can't -' wait... Although my French grammar was pretty poor, I'd been able to get my meaning across, and suddenly I saw it from their perspective: me jabbering away competently in a language they didn't undersand.

Sadly, I have never again been that fluent in any secondary language.

But you will continue to get more fluent! Yay you!

& Mexican food is yummy.
