that must have been so obnoxious at the show. that's one thing i really don't miss about vancouver; the whole 'scene', the fashion show. it's so nice that for a large part in the backpacking scene here no one cares what they're wearing or what anyone else is wearing.

when jen and i got to antigua after not going for a long time, we were totally amused by the phenomenon of the antigua 'fancypants'. we'd walk down the street and count dirtbags (people who dressed down and didn't seem to mind) and fancypants (people who seemed they spent an hour in the morning coordinating their earrings with their scarves). the fancypants always won in numbers.

yeah, the pretentious fashion show sucks when you just want to make friends really.

it was ridiculous. do you want to go with me sometime soon to actually see the grad show and then we can go back to my house and have tea and draw?

i know i was a super flake before and always forgot plans and such but seriously i would like to hang out with you so let me know when you're free. i have fridays and saturdays off work.

They sent out a whack of letters this morning to people.. I need to talk to you about arty stuff - I have to figure out something amazing to submit to the show and I'm sort of lost :/

i went to the grad after party to see artemis jackson. fashion show deluxe. i almost went to go see the art, i was curious, but yoga overcame my need to see art. thanks for assuring me i made the good decision :)
