The taste of vegetables

I like to think that my tastebuds are more sensitive than those of the non-aroma-impaired (like the way blind people are supposed to have a more acute sense of hearing or touch). How amazing that you should mention avocado. It is perhaps the most distinctive sensation-inducing food for me. I don't actually know whether or not I enjoy it, however I get this feeling on a beautiful spring day (as we've been having lately where I live) that can be descibed as nothing other than avocado-esque. It's peculiar, but perhaps the avocado is something unique to anosmics?
