This leads me to a new defninition of senioritis: Living with the knowledge that nothing you can do will change the future leads you to do nothing, or develop a strong apathy about the future.
While I was out being a teenager, my uncle in Texas (who oddly enough, works for an oil company) calls. He calls and tells my mom that for my graduation, they are going to give me $1000!(!!!!!) for college expenses (books, travel, spending $$, etc)
So here I am again on a Saturday morning at work. Except a lot has changed. I finally got my license, and the best part is that in a week, there are no restrictions because I'm 18 next Sunday. Yay
