59. Finding a winning slot machine on the first $1. $175 in quarters is very heavy.

I won close to $200 on a single dollar. They don't give you all quarters, however. I went to Harrington, DE and the slot machine gives you a ticket. You then put that ticket into another machine, reads how much you're owed, and then spits out bills and change.

Saw your journal in kurt_halsey.

$200? Nice! We had stopped at a place called Boomtown right outside Reno - it's coin winnings up until $250? After that, I think you're visited by a cashier who rolls a cart up to your slot machine. I felt a twinge of terribleness when I won - there was a woman who had been at that particular machine, for whoever knows how long and giving up, moved to another machine. The look she gave me when I won, yikes!

Haven't visited any casinos here since we moved to the east coast a few years ago, I think it would feel like I'm cheating on Nevada, or something. ;)

Haha, yeah, I got one of those crazy looks when I won, myself. It's just a bit of luck and fate, is all. She could've sat there forever and still might not've won like you did.

I would love to go to Vegas. I'm thinking of going to Atlantic City one day, just to see what it's like. I probably won't have good luck, however. When I went to Harrington, it was a little after I turned 21. I had that "beginner's luck."
