well i'm back from orientation. it was a really great time. i pretty much hung out with martella the whole time, but we did meet a bunch of people. my roommate was a kid from atlanta named unal. he seemed cool...it's always interesting how different people are even in the same country. keep in mind....garlic knots are a new york thing. we tried

that's so funny. cause in jersey, at our prom house sam, and i walked to the pizza place. and sat down, and after they gave me a slice, i asked for garlic knots. and the woman got very confused. ad said " uhhh..er, sure. lemme get them".
she went into the kitchen, came back with nothing.
walked over to another table, gave me a jar of garlic powder, and said " is this good?"
and i assumed she didn't understand and they didn't sell garlic knots so i just nodded and took it.
and she watched while i poured the garlic powder on my pizza.
afterwards we laughed about it for 15 minutes.
it was funny, to say the least.
