I have not enjoyed a day of work in more years than i'd like to count.

I wish I could come up with something soothing to say, but I would feel like shit if I said something dishonest to you. The truth is that I can't imagine you finding a way to work within corporate America and enjoy it. I can well understand that you have not enjoyed a day of work in more years than you'd like to count. Corporate America (or corporate Brazil, or corporate anywhere) has its own malignant way of inducing people to believe that there's no life out there. The fucking Roman empire did the same. They coined and spread the principle that "Rome is the light. The rest is darkness." They made people believe in it and reigned safe and sound for the time it was meant for them to reign. Then it was over. The empire crumbled down. So will the corporate world one day. Meanwhile, someone like my beautiful Palm Harbor boy doesn't belong there. There are alternatives, you know? But you have to go for them.

Have you ever read Asterix, the series of comics by Gosciny and Uderzo? I know it's not quite as popular in the US as it is in ( ... )

I tend to post something randomly and then forget i even did so. Dont fault me Leo! i promise i still love ya. Im sorry that i dont always respond, but know that i always read what you have to say, and cherish them all. Honestly.

Asterix sounds cmpletley up my alley, i will have to check that out soon. Im a whore for graphic novels/comics. AND i've been needing a good book to get into, and i'd just as much like to get into a new comic series. So thank you for the suggestion, and i'll be sure to find the parallels of life within the fantasy.

It seems as though i've always known the truth, that i wasnt made to just sit in an office. I was born to be an entertainer in some form or another. Now if only i could figure that out - what vein to persue - where to launch off - before i waste and dwindle away the rest of my life like i've been doing the past 8 years.
How do you motivate the spiritually deflated and beaten down drone? Now thats a problem worth solving, much better than Maria anyway.
