Well, Last night sucked probably just as much as tonight is probably going to. I've noticed trying to hangout w/ your friends as you get older is probably the most stressful thing as far as setting up the whole "what, when, who, where" plan. I went to my friends house last night, watched some videos from last weekends halloween party and camping ( Read more... )

I've noticed that aside from scheduling problems, it's harder to just hang out when you're older because nobody ever has any idea what the hell to do. I'm always coming up with these great ideas to do things, and everyone's always too tired, too poor, or busy. Meh. Let's go back to being 16 so we can all have adventures again. Adventures are kewl.

Adventures?!?, how about less drama & money BS! I can't count how many friends I've lost due to getting married, having kids, moving far away cause NJ sucks, work, school, or other normal growing up crap...

Well, I won't say anything about NJ not sucking (hah), but I totally understand that. I miss being able to just call up my friends after school and we could just hang out, go wander around the park or wherever it was we wandered around, or play Nintendo or think we were all cool drinking Frappuccinos or something. Nowadays, it's all work and bills and icky grownup stuff. Meh. I see people my age or younger getting married and having kids, and I'm like, "Meep! We're babies!", when it's probably me getting all Peter Pan.

I still like having adventures. They make me feel less mired in grownup-ness.

I miss when my income was all disposable, and when I could stay up all night without coffee and still feel safe driving.

I miss when I didn't have school or work to worry about.
