1. Capital punishment - necessary evil or violence begetting violence?
State sanctioned revenge. An abomination.
2. Who, apart from yourself, has been the single most influencing factor on your life? What is the most important lesson they've taught you?
My father. 20+ years of living with him certainly influenced me. I would not say I am happy about that, but I doubt _anyone_ has provided as much of an influence. The most important lesson I have learned is how not to be him.
3. (Presuming we've invented supercooling fabric *grin*) What would be your ideal clubing outfit?
Boots that incorporate an articulated knee guard, rising out of a kind of demi greave, blackened steel and then buckled to hell and back down to a reasonably plain boot with a respectable 2 inch sole of something dense.
Glove leather pants, something with a 3/4 sleeve and reasonably tight and shiny. Battle jacket in a heavy wool, blackened steel buttons and a demon face design in rivetted steel plate across the back. black leather gloves with metal knuckle caps and reinforcing.
Throw in a few chains, medium weight and a decent set of goggles and i'd be happy.
Ask me again in a few hours and my choice would likely change.
4. You have to dispose of 20 million dollars in 48 hours, the only condition being you cant give it away, it must be exchanged for goods/services within that 48 hour period. What would you buy?
The best financial advice I could find.
Call a financial adviser. Ask for who they would consider the best in the country. Repeat a dozen times until you have a name turning up. Offer twice their normal rate for their attention for the next 48 hours.
Treating this less seriously, something that can be converted back into $40 million reasonably easily in the next little while, so it can be spent in a more leisurely fashion - so perhaps property or similar.
5. Other than IT, is there any field of employment that interests you?
