Is it just Happy Birthday? Although I don't know what the cotton reel part is about...

it is. awhile back i did a post where i put it all through a million languages and then brought it back to english and somehow puck wound up as cotton reel. it actually doesn't translate into german and french that way, but i knew puck would remember the cotton reel part.

I figured it was happy birthday sung to puck, except I put in puck and it turned into kobald, so I'm confused how you got the cotten reel part.

awhile back i did a post that i ran through a million languages and puck's name came out as cotton reel so i used that here. i saw that it came out as kobold, but figured that would confuse things for puck and for people who'd seen the cotton reel entry. also, in this old cartoon i watched when i was small, "heidi's song," grandfather spooks heidi by telling her about the spirits in the mountains and he talks about the kobolds so i didn't want to use that.

Yeah, and Kobolds are dog-like creatures in D&D (says Dan). So maybe cotton reel was a better choice. =o)
