happy

I've found that if I can make myself happy outside of school, it's so much easier to make the day go faster. My dad doesn't like it that I need to talk to my "old friends" to make myself happy, but you are the people that make me happier than I ever could be ( Read more... )

Well that's good in a way _grayscale_ September 14 2004, 19:24:41 UTC
I have been to 8 different schools in my life, and when I was in about the 3rd grade I had decided to stop trying to be the crowd follower. I have moved so many times that I couldnt keep up with changing myself. That is why I am very weird when it comes to dressing and I have a very ... how to put this... Hyper attitude, a kinda attitude thats like I dont care what you think about me. It helps, people respect you more for being yourself and I learned the long way. Maybe Montana was a good thing for you to find your real self.

It's funny, but... Montana has helped me in a lot of ways.
-I realized who my true friends are
-I've learned a lot about myself
-I'm getting a chance to go to a better school (their curriculum is a LOT better)
But what I really like is that I get all of this, and then a chance to go home. I hate it, and I really can't wait to come home, but at the same time, I like not being around some of the people...even though most of the people out here are as bad if not worse as they were at Liberty.
My dad told me today (and I've heard it before) that whatever doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger. I've gotten a lot of strength from this move, not only in endurance, but in emotional and other aspects...

That's good, Sarah. I can't be as insightful as Brittany here, but I'm very glad you are realizing this. Believe me, life was much better for me when I did.

I'm getting used to it. I like not caring what people think of me. Rosie flipped out when I told her I was doing the after school choir thing... and I laughed. If you would've made fun of me for something like... well, you know, in the last year, I probably would've quit...

haha, no, but I'm just saying, if you had, that would've been my reaction a few months ago. Maybe... I don't really know actually..

Don't feel bad.
