I've been missing in action for quite a while and have so much Arashi fandom to catch up on. One reason is because work is constantly exhausting. I don't think I'll ever get used to going to work at 6AM every morning

AHHH!!! AWESOME! Welcome to Doctor Who. There is so much to love. I'll admit, I was intimidated by the history at first, but then I just started watching and, like you said, bam.

"Gangster-Doctor", as you called him (which is a hilarious and great descriptor, btw) was my favorite. My dad's a big Whovian and I grew up watching scratchy old VHS recordings of episodes from the 70s and 80s. I watched every episode when it started back up again, but my interest waned somewhere during the David Tennant days. It's a really fascinating universe, though, and one that is easy to get sucked into, especially with some of the superb writing at times.
