How long is the flight? Nabokov Lolita's a long read even for a plane. Maybe The French Lieutenant's Woman by Fowles. I'm not a fan of Salinger so I can't really say there. Fanny and Zooey is okay but I despise Catcher In The Rye. Don't know L.M. Boston or M.F.K. Fisher or Francesca Lia Block so no comment. However if Blocks Wasteland is anything like TS Elliots I'd recommend that. Steinbeck is the same as Nabokov. Harriet the Spy is always something fun to read. And I dont know Bulgakov so no comment. Hope this was helpful
