Aww, sounds like the 'new life' blues alright! Getting cats to settle in with each other can be a tough thing to do, particulary if there is a tom and a queen. Usually the thing goes that both have to be seperated, then gradually introduced to their surroundings then each other, and that can take time to say the least, especially although I am surprised that Freya hasn't put Neko in his place since catdom usually is a matriarchy.

Is Neko neutered, or did he get to jump fur before being neutered? And has Freya been neutered? Toms can be horny little buggers around queens unless the queen is quick to swipe off some fur and show her dominance. But then, when has a cat ever done what they are supposed to (says she staring at her cat Danny who is a total wimp at times). Anyway, it'll all settle down soon enough and you are bound to grieve for a while I guess.
