It's been a while....

Okay, I haven't posted in like forever...oops! A ton of stuff has happened since last time. I've seen spoons go all bendy from people thinking about it; I spent a wonderful overnight with my friend Jean complete with anime overload and the most fun power outage I've ever had; I've been to a bunch of art fairs with good friends; I've been ( Read more... )

Hmm, I'm not all that much for proggies to update with, so far at least. I guess I'll await the more spiced up VR versions..

Candy aisles? *blinks and wishes she had seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory*

Java stuff, such as? (I assume you don't mean you're pouring coffee on your screen ;P )

I have to admit, I really like Semagic. Nothing to remember, you can make links and such with a click, you can post to any LJ or community you belong to by selecting from a drop-down menu, and more. It rocks the socks. The Microsoft product, OTOH, is just a fairly simple front end so that what you produce looks nice. It's not meant to have all the bells and whistles, mainly because it's meant to work across so many varying platforms. I have to admit, tho, the VR version would be much fun! I wonder if that would come with Sydney and/or Duncan ( ... )

"Five lights" is a Star Trek reference? I thought it referred to the lightbulbs in Ouran! I enjoyed your company, even if it means I'm addicted to yet another anime... Thanks a lot, babe! ;) I miss being able to cook for people and hang out and all that.

I am so glad you've been having fun. I understand about the relative ease of a 30-minute drive. If you know that you're going to be welcomed by friends on the other end, a 3-hour trek is shorter than a 20-minute drive to the ambivalent. Is Raenna going to be living in a dorm for the year, btw?

After all the shelf-arranging, are you sick of candy now? I'm going back to work this afternoon. My first project is clearing out the office shelves and cabinets. I will be thinking of you. :)

BTW, I got a tip that Global Crossings is hiring for various positions.

*grin* It works that way too, doesn't it? But yeah, it was a Next Gen episode I had in mind when I wrote it, where the baddies have Picard bolted to a chair and they torture him into saying he sees five lights around his torturers instead of the four there are in reality. Actually, the episode was pretty dramatic and draining, and prolly deserves better than my light-hearted teasing, but oh, well, I'm crass. :p

Yep, Raenna pretty much lives on campus.

Ya know, I'm not sick of candy. For a few days the smell was a bit overwhelming, but it takes a *lot* of candy for "candy miasma" to develop! :p But since we don't get to taste it, candy's not ruined for me! And oh, cleaning. I surely need to do more of that! But not right now! Cuz there are five candy bars---and they're all mine! Bwahahahaha!
