Our 1000 suffers from stuck front brake cylinders now and then - we ended up putting plenty of silicone grease around the rubbers to keep out the water, and that seems to help.

Our doors don't fit all that well either, but we got them liveable-with after a bit of fettling.

I was kind of hoping you and I could get down and dirty under Celyn at some point this fortnight. Something tells me I'm likely to be out of luck. Drat.

oooer. Well, Morris door now shuts, clutch linkage *almost* adjusted right, brake cylinders acquired but not yet fitted.

Andrew, I don't suppose you've got a master cylinder filler lid going spare? The metal one with a hex on top - this one, the hex is more or less corroded away! Looks iffy and might well prove that removing it is a one-way operation. I could get a whole new cylinder, of course, but this one appears to work and they're about 50 quid.

Bloody weather! Nearly April, and Celyn's still in her overcoat *sob*
I was hoping to have driven her by now, but at the moment I can't even see much point in taking the cover off :(
