Picturefest

I found a couple of tuits, and since it started raining I abandoned more welding in favour of sorting pictures.

First, Pictures from Croeslan Vintage show, and second, some pictures of the work on the Merc.

Nice shots from the Croeslan show. The Plymouth Prowler and its trailer is certainly one up on the BMC 1100 with its 'sawn-off' trailer that's sometimes to be seen at our local rallies.

I wonder whether that Enterprise bus will get to any of the shows in our neck of the woods? I wouldn't mind getting a closer look at it.

Hope the rest of the Merc restoration goes well; presumably spares for it are still available over the counter.

Haven't got far with online spares sources, although there seem to be plenty being broken.

If you canhe across a decent W123 front wing, near side, I will be after one. AFAIK there's no difference between the coupe, saloon and estate at the front.

I'll let Geoff know, and if he hears of one I'll let you know. How much is a reasonable price for one in acceptable condition?

Dunno, I've heard 40 quid mentioned but I would expect near-mint for that. It's not that urgent, as I don't mind using it with that bit looking rough all the time it's obviously not finished.

work on the Merc.

Shouldn't that be "work on the Mork" or "werc on the Merc"? ;)
