Exactly. A couple or three days ago I was behind a young chap in the till queue who had nothing else except ten boxes, each of 24 half-litre cans of Oz lager, in his trolley. To my astonishment, he was charged but eight quid a box; I imagine some special offer must have been on for the stuff. Were the more informally-marketed substances as easily and as cheaply available (as I have heard some pundits recommend when interviewed), I suspect that the statistics might indeed be somewhat different.
