I have to say AMAOh! isn't really a doujinshika I go to for story/plot. Her Kagami and Kuroko do get themselves into some pretty kinky shenanigans in the other books. But her Kagami also skirts the fine line between IC and OOC (or what I perceive to be OOC...*sigh* I'm a stickler, don't mind me), which is why despite her art having a style all all its own and her deadpan Kuroko being extremely believable, I still can't rank her as one of my real-real favorites (like 3T turned out to be...). I GUESS I'm just a romantic at heart, and I favor the 'hidden smiles' thing.

That said, when I think about it, Kagami and Kuroko *don't* smile all that much when they're together. Kagami more, of course (Kuroko being deadpan), but that doesn't mean Kuroko doesn't smile/gets that deredere look in his eyes. I guess it's because in this one Kagami is huddled behind Kuroko most of the time, and/or yelling because Kuroko wants to try something new (hahaha I would just download it for that one page LOL - hey, it involves Kagami and a leash!), I don't feel as much uh...warmth? as say, works from 3T, or Itadaki Cat, or even VENOM. THOUGH when you think about it, vivian-jin and ESplus' Kurokos don't really smile either. And it could be argued this is part of Kuroko's personality, so why am I twiddling about it at all?

(but don't you feel sometimes even in fanfics that some authors have a sympathetic understanding/deeper relationship with a character? I think doujinshi is quite the same...you can 'understand' something, but actually feeling it is different, right?)

STILL. I really like AMAOh!'s art style. Not that it doesn't resemble other people's art styles (I just can't think of who...), and TECHNICALLY it's not supposed to be in my 'like' factor because the bodies aren't realistically muscled enough, the faces can be occasionally static though she draws freakedout!Kagami like a boss, her tone usage is only ordinary, etc. Still, her characters fit naturally together as they should. Kagami and Kuroko feel like they're used to being around each other, being intimate and cuddly-close, and accustomed to each other's quirks. Despite what those quirks are, I can like a girl that convinces with her art.

Thus, get it here on Mediafire, and enjoy!
