Kuroko no Basket Doujinshi ("Kiseki no Holiday" by tokiwazone)
Okay last one for today...

Notes: based on the ending pictures of all the teams getting together to play 3-on-3.
Okay so usually this kind of art is on the other end of my 'like' spectrum. Nothing of curves and soft lighting here - everything is bold and sharply outlined. The characters have dynamic faces - even Sakurai - which show very plainly what they feel - even Kuroko when he's commenting on Aomine and Kagami playing together.
I knew this girl did a Light Sandwich book that I waffled on and ended up not buying because it was overpriced at Mandarake + it had no R18 ranking on it (shame on you, ansibs! But I really was kind of looking for something similar to Vanilla Shake, to wipe all the warpedness of Rebellion's Aomine/Kuroko nipple fairies out of my mind...). This one seemed gen which is nice after reading so much pairing stuff, plus like the doujinshika, I also thought the ending was really cute and that they did some sort of story based on it.
It does turn out to be really funny. She goes through 2 and a half matches before the book ends, and all the crack you would imagine all these funny characters would get into happens more or less. She does (I think?? I'm no English major here) the medium awareness thing where the characters know they're characters and make jokes according to such (like Aomine and Kagami yelling about Kise having so many scenes in the anime that the whole series should have been called "Kise no Basket").
Some of her poses for when they're playing and stuff do kind of feel...I dunno, copied out of a pose book? Then again I'm sure most doujinshika DON'T double as mangaka, thus drawing action scenes would be somewhat out of their usual repertoire. I applaud the effort, at the very least - and it doesn't look unnatural or anything. She gets the tones and the action down just fine. I DON'T KNOW this is all conjecture anyway.
The last page is really funny too, when Kise goes, "Look, Kagamicchi and Kurokocchi are 'having a moment' on the balcony together, I think I'll go join them!" and then Aomine going, "Dude, will you pay attention to the mood here!?". Murasakibara chomping the...daikon? Carrot? seriously made me lol as well.
