I find this rather funny: A Creationist foundation is telling people who support Intelligent Design that the arguments they're using suck.

Also, has anyone else heard about this guy Jack Thompson and the ridiculous shit he's going on about? The dudes at Penny Arcade have lots to say about him, because he's a dick

Jack Thompson will pay you $10 if you kill your parents and confess Jerry Krahulik made you do it. Or GTA, either one would suit his purposes.

The thing that kills me, though: his proposed "game" wouldn't really further his purpose. Where's the leverage in making something so brutal and horrifying if you know it was just for shock factor in the from the very conception? No one is going to condemn the game because it rips off endless others as a known satire. It'd just be another GTA clone contributing nothing more or less to his crusade, albeit one that plays out his wet dream (you KNOW he'd love to do anything described in that game). If anything, he's making even more of a joke out of himself and his crusade...

I totally agree. This guy's freakin' nuts. All he's doing this for is attention. Like Tim Buckley said, it'd cost a gaming company more than five times the amount of money Jaack Thompson is going to donate to charity, so instead of making the game, they might as well just donate the money themselves.

I hope that if someone really does make this game, that it just bashes Jack Thompson. Choc-full of easy-to-find Easter Eggs (and also easily avoidable, if you're showing, say, Jack Thompson what you made) making fun of the bastard. Maybe even one near the beginning of the game that turns every single person you're supposed to kill into a characature of Jack Thompson himself?

This man doesn't deserve the soap box he's been given. This whole violent games business is terribly old.
