So after the great LJ panic of 2009 I rather expected my journal to just go "pouff!" and yet it's still here. Actually I didn't think it would disappear, these panics never turn into anything (disappointingly). I did try to download the last few years into a pdf book but everyone else was doing it too and I gave up and became philosophical (cue ( Read more... )

Try http://www.ljbook.com. I think that's the most common one. I actually got it to go just now (wow, all the way back to 2003!) so the rush is obviously over.

I'm not sure what I'll do if it does actually stop. I don't really want yet another blog to worry about but I'd miss everyone soooo much! I shall worry about it when the time comes.

When were you in Oz? Did I miss this? You'll probably tell me it was last week and I'll feel like an idiot. But yes, NZ is not actually as close as most people think. :)

Thanks for reminding me about ljbook - it's working for me not too!

I'm still here ... *kicks the dirt some* and I still like writing in my journal. I keep thinking about a public blog but I just can't go public ... I hate the idea of just anyone looking over my shoulder.

I'm excited that you get a break now from working and are smart enough to wait for the right thing to do to hit you. I'm looking forward to finding out what that is when you do. :)
