Once I was in the middle of the garden district in New Orleans with a girlfriend from Pensacola, and we were waiting for our other girlfriend to get off of work from Rocky's Pizza, so we went thrift store shopping. The thrift stores in NOLA are dirty...but I found this old new paper clipping of the virgin Mary in chapel crying tears of "blood". OF course, I bought the clipping, it was framed...from the 1950's...NOW, its lost somewhere in my attic. The attic has to be dealt with soon...so we can get the loft, ducted for "air conditioning". Oh, yeah, of course, there was some velveteen, and velvets carted off from that dirty ol thrift store, right around the corner from the Blue Bird Restaurant, with the best red beans and rice...ever.
