It's been 10 years since I joined LiveJournal.

10 LONG FUCKING years.

When I "joined", it wasn't so much joining as it was signing up for some new fangled shit that Brad had put together.

And now, 10 years later, here we are.

I've come a long, long way in 10 years. And I have the posts to prove it.

I've made some good friends. People I'd never had met

Yes, tis interesting to see our growth over the years of updating- for the good and bad. I keep up with LJ and Facebook but in different ways. My one liners go to FB where I have way too many friends- Work peers, HS friends, etc... whereas on LJ I have only a handful of people I know for real and is a good place to let it all out with little concern of judgement or worry of who is reading what.

I know how you feel. A lot of folks that I used to talk to I never hear anymore. Everyone that I really really like I talk to/hear from on myspace/facebook. The only reason I've been sticking around is because I've been on for almost as long. However, I stopped the "paid account" thing as soon as the Russians took hold.
