Soy custard is evil, yes, indeed. It is a crime against humanity. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MIGHT THINK OF BUYING SOY CUSTARD - DON'T. Truly scarring. ick. *spits ( Read more... )

Reckon 24 hours is my favourite Joy Division track.

Hahah, you Christmas tree thief! I had to have my arm put up my back to have one but I'm happy with my silver and blue snowman at least. Incidentally, we didn't pinch it, lol.

I've not seen Donnie Darko. Are you still after the song name...as in...is it not REM/Mad World but summit else? I've got a feeling I'm dafter than you there. I seem to remember Mad World coming from some film or other :/

I don't think I've ever heard 24 to tell you the truth! Yeah, well I figured the gay club owed me for bad music, watered down drinks, and general evil spirit of gay boys that look at you like you have a disease that they might catch.

I HATE GAY BOYS.

Mad World was covered by Gary Jules for the Donnie Darko s-track, but is originaly by tears for fears.

How are you sweetie? *hugs*

You have now! Terrifically morbid, eh? *loves*

But...they are superior! *sighs at lack of gayboyness in my life*

Yep, knew the TFF thing...I am that old, lol!

Surviving. *hugs back*

So you don't hate REM? Hi back - as you probably have realised I'm not around much, but... I usually do read posts... sorry I'm probably not what you expected when you friended me - are you a Placebo person or a Slipknot person? (Or was it Ian Thorpe??)

I do hate REM, but I don't normally just leave negative comments. LoL What do u mean not what I expected? I'm not disappointed and unless you want to disadd me, I'm quite pleased having you as an LJ friend. I was an Ian Thorpe person! hehe

LOL - no that's not what I meant - I don't want to de-friend you at all! It is just that some people know me as a slasher and expect me to post stories all the time - and I don't. In fact I have a boring life and a boring job... not exciting in the least, is kind of what I meant, lol.

IAN LOL! Oh btw if you are interested I wrote a sequel to that story that I wrote - shall I post it?

Tears for Fears did the original, didn't they? I thought the version at the end of Donnie Darko was a cover, but Shanna will be able to tell you; she burned it for me on a compilation, but that's temporarily lost in our house 'reorganisations'. My friend Murray (who you met) and Nick (who you didn't) did a great version of the cover version which I caught on mini-disc… but I don't know where that is either, lol.

Soy custard… bleah!!!! Just had home-made yoghurt with bananas, honey and armagnac; much nicer!

It's a cover by Gary Jules.

Yay for Donnie Darko! *dances festively*

Yaaay... so I had a giant argument with my flatmate - was Donnie mad (me) or was it all real?? Time travel and all? What's your opinion?

Yeah - I've heard it a few times, but I really liked the song - just one of those songs that you connect with, you know? can't explain it...
