I had almost convinced myself that going to grad school here, in the U.S. (and more specifically, in CT), would be the wisest path to take. Then, I checked my email ( Read more... )

(I don't think I knew you were applying to the CWS!)

Well, CONGRATS!

Holy sh-t!

Kind hard to pass THAT up, innit?

But there are many things to consider!

Like, um!

Many things!

Like whether or not there's enough room for me to live on your floor for a year, etc etc.

Like whether or not it would be feasible to purchase furniture there, and then try selling it before leaving, etc etc.

But seriously. I think you need time to think. As do I.

PS- I love how the rep from women's studies has a hyphenated last name! Of course!

The CWS thing was quasi-last minute. And the CWS scholarship helped me to make that quick decision!

Lots and lots of things to think about, indeed. I'm going to have to make a Mega Pro/Con List, which should be fun as I love making lists.

I've got plenty of time to weigh my options, consider my finances, apply to Trinity, blah-dee-blah.

But this was great news!!

I'm stunned. *boggles*

PS -- Of COURSE she hyphenated her name! Lol.
PPS -- ERIK!

PPPS I'd say I'll be joining you there towards early-mid January?

To, you know, live on your possible trundle bed?

I mean, I'd like to get the art history masters, but... if i went there, would you be there too, the following year? Maybe I'll just move to the moors and work under the table for someone on a farm while you get edumuhcated. And I'll go crazeh and not need a masters.

"If I go, I might just stay forever!" -Barone

(He didn't really say that, btw, but can't you hear him?)
