I figured out my nagging-feeling thing...
It's the feeling of Waiting for the Other Shoe to Drop. (I always loved that phrase... I wonder where it comes from? I can't think of a particularly ominous situation involved in falling shoes... unless maybe it has to do with being hanged? Anyways ( Read more... )

New relationships always leave me feeling like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop (see this recent post where I actually say that)
Other things can cause that feeling too, but romance is definitely the #1 cause for me. (Though I sometimes try to pretend that I'm actually worried about something else, so that folks won't know how hopeless I really am)

I'm really all about the terror that I'll become financially helpless/incompetant...
It seems my emotions can't quite wrap around the idea that I might be moving into a stable living environment.
Yes, my relationships are stress free, but moving terrifies me ^^;

Terrors of any kind are no fun, and I'm glad to play my own small part towards making your life a little more terror free.

Tim, is this your declaration of Tim's Skirmish Against Terror?

And as I learned long ago about preschoolers, ending a sentence with "Okay?" gives the child permission to totally say no to whatever it is you just told them. I am not quite sure how this works with 21-year-olds, though (or AM I?!) . . .
