Anthony was sitting by himself, as usual, reading a book under a tree out in the Hogwarts grounds, the view from where he sat was beautiful, the sun just reflecting off the lake, brighting the area. He smiled at the sight then turned back to his book ( Read more... )

Remus leaned against the tree silently, and looked out over the grounds for a moment before speaking.

"Her mother died," he announced by way of greeting, his voice flat and empty.

Anthony listened to Remus's voice and bitterly closed his book, "I knew something was wrong." He heard Remus's flat tone and stood, "Were you able to help?" he asked. His concern once again flooding to his voice. "You were right?"

"I have no idea what to do. She won't let herself grieve, and it's awful to see someone else doing that... I had no idea, when my--" Remus cut off. His father kept worming into these conversations, and it really wasn't that similar, and he wished desperately that he could stop himself.

Anthony nodded, he knew Sabrina well enough to see she hated showing anyone how unhappy she was, that's why he'd sense she'd been acting to unnaturally happy in the first place.

He put and arm on Remus's shoulder, "Atleast you tried..." he said with a small smile, "It's time I try to I guess..." he told him, removing his supportive hand, he looked down. "Not that I know where to begin, but I have to try for her."
