the concert
Oh my goodness! where to begin?
It was sooooooooooo amazing and not to be bugging I'll put this in a cut
So ok this morning I decided to call this lady Robyn from Sony BMG cause I wasn't sure if I was allowed to bring a friend or not to the soundcheck. Turns out I am allowed to bring one friend.
So I called my friend Jonna and woke her up haha and I asked if she wanted to come with me to see the backstreet boys, of course she said yes. 'Cause really who would say no?
anyways we take the train into the city, today was a friggin HOT day!
So we walk over to the loading dock and there's a group of girls waiting there and I couldn't really be bothered to wait around there so we go to this small shopping centre that's close by and spend about an hour there killing time.
We go back to the loading dock and this girl is like "hey have you gotten your wristband yet" and she told me to go to the box office. And I'm sorry but I'm really paranoid when it comes to bsb fans. I don't trust them AT ALL cause well that girl didn't have a pass and she wanted to get in haha and this was like 15 mins before they were supposed to open for us.
Anyways to get this story going I ended up being in the wrong place but because I'm smart and I asked this guy that was inside the gate he told me where to go and we waited FOREVER until we finally got in, the boys were late :s hehe
So yeah we get in and they're all up on stage just goofing off being them. Brian is so funny! Kevin is more slow in real life than he seems on video, honestly how slow can you walk 2ft? haha
But yeah they sang Weird World, Just Want You To Know, Incomplete and one more song I think... I honestly can't remember haha
Nick was playing "Helga" and he messed up on just want you to know I think it was.... he sang the first word wrong and he laughed SO hard that he couldn't sing and I have this WONDERFUL picture of him cracking up and his face is all red and his fist is in his face cause he's laughing so hard. I love him! haha
so there was also a q&a session. Brian's album is coming out May 2nd so I'm excited about that! :)
This one girl said "ok you guys always say in every country that you love the country and the city. What is your least favorite place you've been to"
They were all like..."good question" heh
Brian then went on saying that he didn't like the airport in paris which in the end led to nick saying "I don't like Paris either" haha and everyone laughed OF course!
OH Now I remember...so yeah nick said that he could answer that question politically correct (which made me laugh) but he said that they could take a piece of each city with them and then kevin said "back to your hotel room or?" ohhhhh that was the BEST moment! Nick was kinda embarrassed and said "no"
Anyways after the soundcheck I had some MAJOR time to kill but it passed in the end.
So I get to the SEC again and they've opened the outer doors so I go in. Wait a while, look at the official merchandise which was SOOOOOO Expensive...no freakin way I'm paying 25bucks for a "tour book" pff!
Anyways they open the doors and I go in to my seat. Now I had a seat in section two which was on the side and supposed to be obstructed. There was NOTHING in my way! It was sweet as! I met this girl who was sitting a few seats away from me, she came alone as well so we decided to "hang" together hehe
And since we're such smart girls....we were in 4th row and we noticed that the front row was empty so we decided to move down there!
We hoped and prayed that no one would come and tell us to move back and this guy that worked at the SEC came down and asked the security guard that stood there if we had tickets for those seats and the dude said YES! I have never been so happy EVER! That security dude ROCKED! So basically the only thing that was between me and the stage was the soundboard that was so far down that it doesn't show on any pictures! So I had kind of front row seats...they were SO cool!
And I didn't complain when there was stuff wrong with their earpieces and they walked over to the sounddesk to have the guy fix it hehe cause they would wave, pose or smile for me :)
AJ was always over there so that was really cool!
They jumped down into the crowd as well and I missed AJ but Howie slapped my hand hehe!
But honestly when the concert started I became 12 years old again...I had SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun it's just impossible to describe!
They sang beautifully and were so entertaining and wonderful. They are just beautiful and now I wanna see them again in concert! I had the BEST time...sooooooo good!
That's pretty much all I can remember for now...I made some eyecontact with them as well...that was really cool. :)
