Usually I check the university job pages every friday to see what has come up. However, sometimes I don't, and I just noticed that the job in my old library I was intending to apply for is being advertised and the closing date is this friday. I should be able to get it in, as it is the same application form I have filled in numerous times already,

I'm not sure that job was posted on Friday - so don't be too harsh with yourself!

I think I am mainly annoyed because I knew the job was coming up at some point, so I should have kept my eyes open, and also, it means having to fill in the application form while I am hoping to get the job on Thursday and am panicking about the interview.
