Day one of the family invasion

I now know why I don't want to be a tour-guide. Yesterday, the first people arrived. I finished work at 12:30 and went to the bus stop to pick up my god-father and his family. Due to the road-works they were about 35 minutes late, so I had just enough time to put them in a taxi to their B&B before I had to catch the coach to Heathrow to collect my ( Read more... )

Ack, poor antarra! Herding relatives can be really horrible. I'm glad that most of our guests at our wedding were from around here. And those who weren't are low maintanace.

I have decided that in the unlikely event of me ever getting married I am going to choose a particularily inaccessible location (outer Mongolia sounds good at the moment) and have only the people strictly necessary attend the ceremony, though with my luck I am going to find somebody with a large family wanting a big party:). At least I have my lunchtime free today which is much appreciated.
