forgotten
I had put a dark place out of my mind,a place I had stayed (sometimes) and disliked until the lease was up. A recent DVD episode of A haunting reminded me of that place I had "forgotten" ;P
In 2002 I moved into an apartment below my 2 sisters ,it was a house divided into an upstairs apartment and a downstairs apartment ,this was in the neighborhood between the Rose gardens and Wade ave.I did make a post here on LJ about it right before moving in,I looked back to link to it but the pictures had "expired" so I am just posting them here...
this was a view ,with the front door behind you, walking towards the back of the apartment where you had to walk by the kitchen to turn the corner to get to the bedroom.

the sliding closet doors at the end of the bedroom.
with the doors open, about 3 foot of the ground and the same level as one of the closet shelves at the back of the closet was a 3 foot high door with 3 clasp locks on it
opening the door and turning on a drawstring light,which was the only light back there in this small passageway.
this is the view nearing the end of this passageway you have to duck down to travel down,that is a open door to a small room
this is taken inside this room,the window is barely visible out side for it was 3/4 under the ground,yes dirt was covering most of the window.There was tons of rotting junk down there ,I dont know how long it had been there ...lol,but I wasn't going to touch that mess.
I wish I had taken pictures of the "kid" themed wall trimmings,like there was a castle plastic light switch and little lambs,I never saw a place for a light thought so I dont know what the wall switch was for.It was odd.
This was another door with a passage ,about 2 feet above the floor ,from that small room but I could never see where that one went.
The camera flash really does not let you see just how dark it was down there, these pictures I had taken for pre-existing rental place damage purposes,etc,etc. So I wanted it all lit and clearly visible, fuck a rental company trying to stick me with those damages when I move out.
Anyways I had kind of forgotten about that place and was kind of reminded of it while watching an episode of A Haunting......

I wasn't spooked while living there, never thought a ghost was there , but after watching that dvd A haunting episode and thinking back about that secret room...makes me wonder what was the history of that room? Funny thing that was never explained to me as to "why?" but the house was immediately tore down when both my sisters (and mine) leases expired,they expired one month after mine. I had no idea they had plans to do that...I found it out one day while passing by.
