I guess I should not be surprised that there is so much meth in Alaska. Rates of depression and suicide for Alaska per capita are huge. Drug use should come as no surprise.
The other thing meth makers like for their labs is open rural space for privacy and the fumes. Alaska has plenty of that. Those are the same reasons that there is so much meth in California's agricultural valley area.
